"Deutschland Siegt Auf Allen Fronten"
The women remembered seeing that sign hung upon the Eiffel tower. Germany is victorious on all fronts, it said. She shook her head and looked down upon her lilac dress, a puff of sigh exhaled. She was looking at the eiffel tower from a distance, sitting peacefully on the grass. It was pretty warm, hence the sun was shining brightly upon France and if you tried hard enough, it seemed like life was all a-okay. Adele tried, tried so hard that she conjucted all of her thought into the wonderous tower. Rousseau, among other great great thinkers of this time admired it, perhaps it was worth thinking of? Though at first glance, perhaps puddle iron doesn´t seem so marvelous, just catching a glimpse at this - did.
Like all of her other descriptive, thoughtful moods, and like all of the other times she wanted to end them - she strolled through Paris to get here. She knew that after sitting a while, she would go back home and paint for hours and hours. Painting was her true nature, it released greatly her anger, anxiety and what more emotions she went through and in the end, it looked good. Adele secretly wishes, when going to bed at night that someday, she will be known for her art and her way to see the world.
Adele has not gotten the will yet to stand up and head back home. France seemed partially at peace at the moment, if you had the power to block out all of the germans in the picture. With all of whats happening, it just doesn´t seem right that she has to keep her beliefs a secret. She is a jew, but seeing as what happened to her mother, she doesn´t have the strenght or courage to exploit her beliefs to anyone anymore. Only her papa, who she also has to fear for, because he hasn´t been well in the mind after Adele lost her mother and he lost his loved one. Bravery is not always a value - Adele keeps on saying to him but he never listens.
With a sigh, she closed her eyes and felt the warm autumn breeze embrace her, caress her hair and almost as - give her strenght to carry on.
