EXPLAIN:all in all, this man is a fairly awkward one when it comes too appearance. his features are sharp, his nose is too big for his face (in his not so humble opinion), his hair can't make up it's mind between black and brown, his eyes are a muggy color, and he's not the most graceful of men. standing at a good six feet, four inches (five on a good day), he's taller than a lot of men, skinnier than a lot of women, and he doesn't seem to know how to walk in his own body. and, as if to add insult to injury, he's got a bum shoulder due to a dog bite twelve years ago, which can sometimes be a deal breaker when it comes to his acting. when he's not in costume, his attire is relaxed, and what some might even call "inappropriate." he leaves his shirts unbuttoned, undershirts untucked from his trousers, and his shoes aren't in the best state. still, he can turn on the charm and turn his wardrobe around when he needs to.

LOVES: music, acting, lying, fine wine, cheap vodka, food (but you'd never know it from looking at him), the film industry, knives, wasting time, tricking people.
HATES: nazis, the italian government, the german language (as it sounds angry and guttural), unnecessary violence, propaganda, liars, bad news, modern technology, gullible people, genocide.
STRENGTHS: his knack for lying and a pretty good acting talent, speaks french, italian, english, and a bit of german, has a large family with a lot of various connections, and is unusually good at identifying liars.
WEAKNESSES empathy, a fuse shorter than he'd like, a slave to women and easily seduced, his shoulder.
GOALS: well, single handedly ending the war would be nice, but he'll settle for helping as many people as possible and maybe even getting revenge on the prick that killed his brother.
FEARS: dogs, the death of any member of his family, failing.
INTERESTING FACTS: he was attacked by a dog at age five and has a bum shoulder because of it, and severely allergic to cats.
SECRETS: tried to kill himself at the age of seventeen; always keeps a knife strapped to his leg, under his pant leg.
QUIRKS: constantly stretches and cracks his back, neck, hands and arms; talks with his hands.
PERSONALITY:this man is not your typical man of the times. he's loud, eccentric, and has a bad habit of speaking opinion when he ought not do so. all in all, he's what many might call "a fool." he's the type to find something funny and not bother to hide it, only to earn a stern scolding, to which he's most likely to retort with a robust "fuck you." kasen's opinions and apparent lack of manners gets him in trouble, though he somehow manages to talk his way out of it on most occasions. yes, he's tactless, but he's not without skill.
fool or not, he's a decent-enough actor, and an even better liar. with a tongue dipped in silver, he's got a knack for talking his way out of anything, and talking anyone into something. he's full of shit, really, and extorts this by putting on a variety of guises, each character nothing like the actor behind them. despite his foolish behavior, he's a crafty fellow when he needs to be, and yes, he's aware of it.
like all humans (nazi's and other people lacking decency and an ounce of humanity excluded), there's more than meets the eye. yes, he acts the fool on a daily basis, and yes, he can convince you he's the queen of france, but there's much more to him. he's passionate about a lot of things, and often rather aggressive about some of those passions. some italians are willing to die for their country, while this one is willing to die for his family, and more than willing to kill for them too. loyal 'till the day he dies, and as over-protective of certain people as a lion to their dinner, he can be one dangerous fool.
