YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. The beginning of the day had been perfectly uninteresting for the most part, except for the hour or so she had spent with a couple of her friends in the small park just opposite of where she lived. Very uninteresting, as opposed to the situtation that she was currently in right now. It was, effectively, a potentionally problematic scenario where she just knew that she would end up getting hurt whichever way she went about trying to solve the crisis. In her head she pictured the German getting thoroughly irritated with her refusal to speak, drawing out his pistol and shooting her clean in the head. Then she would be dead and that would a complete loss of a bullet and musician from Paris. She had also pictured the alternative where she would kick his ass from here to Australia, but that was met with complications, obvious ones: a) she was too short. b) she was too short. c) she was the weaker opponent. and d) he would end up killing her, or injuring her. This was most definitely not a situation that she would wish to re-enact again with anyone, least of all the current German soldier who was looking down upon her as though she were a rat or worse.
She felt his hands on her shoulders before she had a chance to make a get-a-way from his clutches. His grip was strong, he pinched her skin and it made her wince. She wasn't really one for pain; tried to get away without having it as much as was possible; not that it worked for the most part. Only on occasions. The soldier pulled her roughly towards his body and leaned down; the smell of sweat stained his cologne, it was repulsive and the red head thought she was going to gag. It wasn't a very nice smell and she did wish that he would let go of her, but apparently that wasn't going to happen any time soon. His head came down a little lower and for one horrible second, she thought that was going to try and kiss her, or rape her, or both. The small girl cringed and made herself go limp in his arms so that he wouldn't try it. It didn't seem like he was going to. What he did do, however, was whisper in German in her ear in a harsh tone; the red head had a feeling in her gut that he was insulting her for reasons only known to the German. It didn't surprise her really, they were all vile, rude and hypocritical; a reason why she avoided them so much.
There were people walking around, mostly French people who didn't seem to feel obliged to help a fellow French citizen, either that or they didn't want to have to suffer the consequences of becoming involved in an arguement between the two of them. Part of her was relieved for this, whilst the other part of her felt as though something should be done, no matter how small the notion would be. Eventually though, he ceased his whispering and his hands were removed from her small frame as he took a step backwards and looked down at her. The seventeen couldn't help herself, she stood there shaking violently and looking down at the floor, rather than up at the German. It was a mistake that she knew she wouldn't ever repeat again. Not since he slapped her across the face with so much force that she ended up flat on her back and in pain on the hard ground. He laughed, kicked up some of the asphalt from the path and walked away. Her eyes stung, but her heart stung more. Placing a hand to her cheek and using her other to wipe out some of the asphalt, she got to her feet and looked around. Now she needed a place to go.
As far as her green eyes could see, the only place half decent enough to escape the stares of the people on the streets was café rogue - it wasn't that bad of a place. She didn't like it, but she also didn't mind it at the same time. Besides; it was much better than having to stay in the street. Smoothing her dress down a little, the petite French girl shuffled over to the café and pushed against the door. She was greeted by a surprisingly nice smell of freshly baked bread and coffee. Her cheek was still stinging as she walked up to the counter to place her order; then thought better of it and moved off to the bathrooms instead, needing to check the situtation of her cheek. Taking a small detour around a couple of tables and almost walking into an elderly French couple, the street performer ducked into the bathrooms and crossed over to the mirror. Biting her lower lip as she saw that there was a bruise beginning to form on her cheek - well, he had hit her rather hard, so hard in fact that she'd actually fallen over because of it. Shaking her head gently, Audrey Roux wet a couple of paper towels and placed them against her cheek, wincing slightly.

Diedrich was seemingly on vacation from Camp Aufman at the present moment. After his meeting with Colonel Landa, he was feeling more chipper and charming than usual. He walked with a sense of purpose, spoke sweet, and acted in a way of which he was completely the opposite at Aufman. It did him good to be away from his dirty jews for awhile and pursue real women to soothe his mojo.
His blond hair was combed back into his Senior Colonel officer hat and his uniform was perfectly free of wrinkles and his boots were shined to perfection. He looked like a million dollars to those that thought the Nazis were grand, which was very few, even though just about all of them feigned liking the Nazi presence.
Edselvine had summoned a Nazi officer cab to take him to a good place and he ended up at Cafe Rouge, as the cab driver had told him it was full of real German allies. Finally, a place where he belonged. As he was driving along, his eyes were taking in the panorama. France was pretty, but not nearly as beautiful as the Motherland.
His eyes found a young girl, probably French or Irish deemed by the color of her audacious hair... ick, he always liked blondes and brunettes, his mother always taught him redheads were dirty and filthy creatures. But whatever, he still eyed her like a piece of meat. He noticed her hurrying along with post haste. What happened?
Thankfully, she was heading into Cafe Rouge, he'd have an opportunity to 'show' that he 'cared'. There were plenty of Germans inside to see just how 'kind' he was. He ordered the cab to stop and quickly exited the vehicle. His step was brisk, which led him into the restaurant and following closely behind her until she put herself into the bathroom. The door smacked right in his face.
With a groan, he shifted back to where he came and ordered in angry German to the ugly server woman to open the door and bring the woman out. The ugly server knocked on the door, unlocked it with a key, and leaned close by Aubrey's ear.
"A fucking German wants to see you," the server whispered very quietly, "I'd get out if I were you."
The ugly then put a fake smile on her face and left the bathroom, smiling at the Oberfuhrer with a toothless grin.
"She will be right with you, good sir," the lady nodded and excused herself, Edselvine continued frowning, waiting for the young lass to come out.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE.
As far as Audrey was concerned, the Nazi's were the scum of the earth and had no right invading a country and killing innocent Jewish people; it was immoral and wrong. So what if someone didn't like a person just because of their heritage? That was no reason to go around killing people, just because of it. The ordeal was sickening and she knew that if she had the chance, she would get out of France as quick as possible and move to a different country, but she would not leave her friends; they meant the world to her. As she hurried along the street to the cafe, she was unaware of a brash German official following close behind her. Had she known about this, then she would have taken a different route and try to get him off of her tail. She didn't like the German's and she certainly did not like it when they followed her places. It was creepy beyond belief.
She skidded into the bathroom, her cheek still blazing from the blow she'd recieved. The only reason why she'd known that someone had followed her, now, was the soft thud she'd heard when she'd let the door slam behind her. It was the sound of someone's face meeting wood. Audrey hoped to God that it wasn't a German, yet at the same time she had hoped that it was, because him getting hurt at her expensive was slightly funny to the red head. Though she did not know whom she had just hurt, accidentally, Audrey found that she was smirking ever so slightly. Pressing the damp paper towels close to her cheek, she suddenly became aware of a sound that sounded so much like a key being turned in the lock. The seventeen year old froze. The person she'd hit had been a German, now she was stuck. She could feel bile rising in her throat; the heat going up in the room.
Then the door opened and an ugly woman entered; she exaplained that there was a German officer outside that wanted to see her and that she should get out, quickly, then left. What could she possibly do to excuse herself from his presence? Pressing herself close to the sink, Audrey dropped the damp towels from her hand and closed her eyes; thinking. What if it was the same German whom had practically beat her, just moments earlier? There was nothing stopping him from killing her because of it. No French person would stop and help, they would just hurry on with their lives, not wanting to get involved. But then, what if it was a different German? Well, she wasn't going to find out if she didn't get her ass in gear and go to the door. She knew what happened to people if they ignored the Germans. Sighing, the red head smoothed down her dress and opened the door a fraction, peeking around it, only to come face to face with a rather tall German. She was scared, there was no denying, or hiding that. ''Oui...?''

When the youth popped out from the bathroom he was face to face with a Frenchman with red hair. He never thought the French could have such vibrant colors. Perhaps they cultivated a blue or a green as well within their hair genetics? There was no telling with the pompous Frenchies.
The Frenchman acted scared, as she should be! After all, not many can marvel in the presence of the Bear German without certain fear. He didn't want her to be scared though, it didn't make him look very good in front of the other Germans in the restaurant.
He spoke French to her, which was littered with a German undertone.
"Ma'am, there is no need to be fearful around me," he then made an inference, "it is obvious to me that because of the cowering a Nazi must have done that to your face."
He reached forward with his hand and tried to touch the discolored part of her face. Obviously, a lot of people were scared of the Germans, just from their reputation, rather than this singular incident that he figured must have happened. He was joshing himself if he thought any different. But whatever, he wanted to 'try' to make good with the French Fraulein.
"Now, ma'am, I assume you will tell me who has done this to you," he firmly spoke in the best firm French voice he could muster, "we will make sure he comes to justice."
When he spoke, he gently grabbed her shoulders with a sense of superiority. This was purely a display for the Nazis in the building, to set an example, he was clearly saying to them 'if you want to abuse a beautiful woman, do it in private where she won't quickly be in public'.
Take Edselvine for example, he smacked around his jewish bitches in the comfort of his own home and then kicked them back into the barbed wire fences of Camp Aufman. Their abuse wouldn't be seen by anybody that cared! Here, however, you had delicate politics that made traces of extra hatred within the French's minds.
Honestly, if the girl did get a glimpse of the nametag, he would do something about it. Not because he cared about her, but because Senior Colonel Edselvine wanted to preserve better politics among the French. Sadly, the French people couldn't be as easily brainwashed as the Germans... but any bit of positive behavior helped.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. It was rather scary, being so close to a German, though he wasn't making any moves to show that he was about to hurt her, Audrey remained behind the door with only her head peeking out. Behind the German she could see more... Germans and shivered involuntarily at the amount of them there was. It wasn't everyday that a young girl was speaking to a German in front of... German's. She didn't like it very much. It was scary and she wished that the day would end already - or that it was all a dream...
His way of speaking in French was littered with German garbage accents, it made the French words he was saying horribly evil and dirty. A disgrace to all those French. She cringed at his words, and dipped her head a little too the floor. There was no way that she was going to make an escape without first being subjected to something that a German would do, terrible, really. That and she knew that she wouldn't be able to escape in general. The only means of escape now lay behind the German whom she was currently cowering from.
Audrey nodded at his comment, confirming that a German, had in fact been the one to cause her face a discoloration and discomfort. He then reached forwards, to her face. At first Audrey thought of taking a step back, but who knew what this one was like, so she allowed his cold hands to touch the part of her face where she had been hit. There was no hiding how much she was shaking from fear now, even her lips were trembling...
He spoke again, assuming she would tell him which of the German soldiers had the cheek to whack her across the face. But she did not know his name. Though she had seen a part of his name tag, Audrey tried to remember what it had said, all the while trying to not pee her pants, because some of the other German's had come to see what was going on. Some laughing. The red head didn't like it; she felt like she was in a trap that she couldn't get out of.
Then he grabbed her by the shoulders. It had been a gentle touch, but not one that didn't give Audrey a heart attack. She jumped back a few steps, horrified, wrapping her arms around her small frame and looking at the floor, trying to get her breathing under control. Honestly; these Germans would end up killing her just from fright. Wasn't she supposed to be remembering the name she had seen on the tag?! All hope of that coming back to her had been lost when he touched her. At least when he'd touched her face, she had known that it was coming.
"Heinrich... his name was Heinrich.." She mumbled, eventually, this time she spoke in English, her French accent more prominent now that she was scared shitless.

When the Nazis started laughing at the conversation, Diedrich's anger was growing. This was not professional by any means of the word. Yes, Nazis weren't known for being kind, but Diedrich knew that Hitler wouldn't appreciate them laughing, therefore he didn't appreciate them laughing. He didn't shoot them a glance--yet--because he didn't want to lose the young lass.
Everything about her was meager, she was just a mouse, like the jews, Diedrich realized. It wasn't her fault she wasn't German, she was just unlucky to be born a dirty Frenchman. He was sure any good, smart person would want to be a German if they had the choice!
The hoots became louder as the Germans seemingly took over the restaurant at Edselvine's actions. The girl had to tell him quickly, so he could stop this nonsense. They all sounded like vile monkey jews squawking so loudly! He heard something small come from her lips, his ears were tuned into her, so he heard the name.
Heinrich? He didn't recognize the name, but he'd find out.
"Heinrich, ja?" Diedrich's voice grew to the size of a bear as he spun around and looked at all the Nazis that had gathered.
He yelled at them in a truly angry, frightening way in German, pointing his finger so much that even Hitler would be proud. His face was red by the time he ended his words. ALL of the Nazis raced off like they had just been whipped by their mothers. They exited quickly through the front door, off on their way to find this Heinrich.
That would get his underlings out of his and this girl's hair; make them find the one who did it to her.
The Senior Colonel turned back to the quivering girl, he did not touch her this time, "my dear girl, please, calm your nerves, no harm will come to you and Heinrich will get his dues."
And that was true, he'd have all of the enlisted men demoted if they didn't find Heinrich immediately, he had the power to do so, the entire ear of the Nazi party sometimes seemed like it was right by Edselvine's evil lips.
In fact, he could command any one person in the restaurant to strike down this young lady and they'd do it. But he didn't know why he would do that... though he would love watching the display and using it to masturbate later.
"Now, come sit down with me," he ordered in a cautious voice.
The girl had no choice but to follow him to a secluded table in the corner of the restaurant. All eyes were fixed upon the duo, but Edselvine didn't pay attention, he knew they couldn't do much more than listen. And his actions were in good nature, so far, and perfect in terms of officer behavior.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. Audrey didn't like this; she didn't like it at all. Maybe she should have taken the advice from the ugly tender and skipped the joint. Maybe she shouldn't have come in here in the first place. Maybe, just maybe she could crawl under a rock and pretend like she didn't live in France; ahem, France infested with Germans. Maybe... Audrey hoped that she'd be able to escape soon, she didn't much like to think about what this German would do to her..
And she especially didn't like to think about what the other German's would do to her if they got their hands on her. Audrey cringed and shrank behind Diedrich a little more, squeezing her eyes shut, trying to block out the laughter from the Germans. It was sickening, her stomach did a flip and it twisted and churned, she wasn't sure how much more she could handle.
Eventually though, the man, Diedrich, seemed to gain control over the out of hand situation and the laughter ceased. Audrey was relieved, but not settled. Unfortunately; not quite as settled as she would have liked to have been - especially not when Diedrich started yelling, he repeated the name she'd spoken softly to him and then watched, with wide-eyes, the German's scatter off.
It was all rather frightening and Audrey had to bring her hands up to her ears, covering them with as much pressure as she could muster, just to block out the yelling; which she couldn't handle. When he stopped, Audrey was shaking so much she couldn't move, let alone speak another word to the man, or even look up at him when he turned back around to face her.
'Calm your nerves'?! Audrey hadn't heard such blasphemy, of course she wouldn't be able to calm her nevers; she was in the presence of a truly frightening German; her nerves were scattered all over the place. She couldn't help that...
His order to her was to join him at a table, but she didn't want to do that. Though she knew there would be serious repercussions if she did not obey him. For a moment though, Audrey stood, rooted to the spot, nervously chewing on the inside of her lip as she tried to gather up what little courage she had left to attempt to stand up to him. But she failed.
A few seconds later, Audrey hung her head and shuffled her feet across the floor to the table; she was going incredibly slow, but that was only because she didn't want to fall over. She was still in a state of shock and if anything were to happen? Well, she wasn't sure what she would do, but knew that it probably wouldn't be pretty.
She carried on going slowly to the table, wondering vaguely if Diedrich was a patient man. Probably not, but she wasn't going to hurry to get to the table; no rush at all. She was still trying to find her lost feet.

The girl was so very timid and scared, it was a sick turn on to him. Not the kind of beautiful turn on he felt for Juliette, but the kind that was just pure animal; the kind that wanted to cuff her to his bed posts, whip her, and then rape her over and over. He subdued such images in fear of turning himself on too much.
He would certainly like to have this young lady, there was nothing quite like a young teen's under regions. But he decided not to, unless she made the wrong move or said the wrong words. Edselvine even joked with himself that perhaps she was hiding jews! Ha! Like such a meek, stupid girl could hide jews!
A breezeless smile sat on his face as he thought of various funny things about the girl. It was quite obvious, just by looking at his icy eyes, that the cogs were fully turning in his big brain. Diedrich was decently patient but the girl was too scared for her own good. The only way to get her to hurry over without acting like a bad officer was putting out his right hand and motioning her to come quickly, all the while giving her a piercing glare.
If that didn't hurry her up, he didn't know what would.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized that perhaps something was up with this girl. She was acting a bit differently than the rest. It was time to ask himself "WWLD" or What Would Landa Do. If she had a secret to hide, the oberfuhrer was going to pull the secret out of hiding, kicking and screaming.
"My dear, what is your name?" Edselvine spoke as quietly and kindly as he could, but it was very strained as he was starting to be annoyed more and more by her fearful personality as well as her terrible hair.
If she couldn't answer that, well, he was going to shift into something crueler. He was an officer, with things to do and people to see. Diedrich especially wanted to see Juliette again, and this childish teenager was hampering on his time to find Juliette again. French teenagers were so ridiculously sluggish and imbecilic! There was a reason why the Germans dominated the French.
Edselvine began drumming his fingers across the table, waiting for a reply.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. It wasn't usual for Audrey to be so damned scared of the German's, but there was something about this one that she was sure wasn't... normal. Hence her being more scared in his presence than she would be in any other German's presence. Not even Hans Landa scared her this much. Something about this man just didn't sit right in her opinion; one that she was not going to divulge with him. Oh God no!
What if he had somehow found out that she was helping the Basterds?! What if she said the wrong thing and let slip that she was helping the Basterds?! What if... what if, him being nice was just a ruse?! Maybe he did know, maybe he didn't. Either way, she knew that something would happen, deep down in her gut. Audrey just had this feeling that something bad was going to happen to her if she stayed with him any longer.
Which was part of the reason why she was being so slow in moving over to where he had beckoned her too. Audrey chewed on the inside of her lip as she walked, still. Going as slowly was was humanely possible; all the while trying to think of a daring escape plan. She needed to get away from him and quickly. However; his piercing glare froze her in her tracks.
The red head didn't know what to do now. His glare was.. deathly and for some reason she felt as though he was thinking about things... about what he would do to her if she didn't hurry up. Audrey bit down harder on the inside of her lip as the German asked her what her name was. Great; now she was done for. She stuck her hands behind her back, interlocking her fingers with each other as she stood still, not moving to the table anymore.
She thought about giving him a fake name, because he probably new that she was helping the Basterds; but didn't like the endless possibilities of what he would do to her. Audrey took a tiny step backwards, hopefully he didn't notice.
"A-a-udrey." The red head replied, taking another tiny step backwards; ignoring his outstretched hand. Running a hand through her hair, she weighed her chances of escape. Eyeing up the door out of the corner of her eye, she thought about running, but would he get there before she did? Probably. Though, it was always worth a try and if she didn't succeed... well, the Basterds would get to know about her misfortunate.
Sure it was an irresponsible thing to do, but Audrey turned around suddenly and dashed across the room as fast as her little feet could move. However, a remaining German moved in her way, grabbing her around the waist; crashing to the ground, him on top of her. If she had had a chance to scream, she would have, but the breath was knocked out of her.

This lass's behavior was far too strange. He was starting to get increasingly more suspicious as the seconds passed. Edselvine wasn't stupid. He had extensive combat training as well as body language reading. Her body language screamed at him that she was about to run. Just as she turned on her heels to go, the oberfuhrer stood, pointed a finger at her, and yelled.
"Grab her!" He called in German.
There was no going against an angry officer's orders. He wanted to keep up appearances, but there was no use doing that now. Something was up with this girl, and we was going to get to the bottom of it. And oh... he was going to be kind to her, but she used her get out of jail free card, too bad.
She would suffer now.
The enlisted Nazi pulled her up to her feet and then looked to Edselvine for the next order.
"Bring her outside," he whispered to his fellow German, "I will not have a big scene caused here."
It was too late for that, a scene had been caused. However, since it was mostly Germans in the restaurant and they had witnessed her weird behavior, he knew what he was doing wasn't negative. In fact, many of them figured Edselvine was protecting them from a threat. Always a good thing.
The Nazi pulled Audrey out the door and to an alley by the restaurant. The bear German followed by the Nazi's side. He would kill her if she tried to run, or at least maim her and then rip out her hair thread by thread... Mmm... How good it would be.
Even better, he would love to bring Hans Landa in and have him mind rape her in the way that he does so well! It would be splendid... But this was his battle, he was not about to give his suspect over to Hans.
The Nazi pushed Audrey against the wall with both of his arms. Edselvine leaned in close and smelled her. She had the smell of a spring chicken... delicious. He spoke right by her face, his now disgusting breath breathing into her nose.
"You could've came quietly," Edselvine started in a mad whisper, "but you decided not to... Audrey. Hum... Really, as much as I love torture, I probably wouldn't have done a thing to you."
He shook his head back and forth and made a 'tsk, tsk, tsk' noise.
"You poor, horrible creature... now you will face much worse. I understand sometimes it's not good complying, but with me... it is a very good thing to comply!" He glared right into her eyes, penetrating to the core.
"You will tell me if Audrey is really your name. You will tell me if you are in cohoots with the jew. You... WILL TELL ME!" The oberfuhrer boomed into her face.
He stood there in front of her, seething, waiting for a reply.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. She knew that she had done the wrong thing the moment she'd heard his booming voice screaming something in German to the other Nazi's. Hands were wrapped around her waist as she fell and then suddenly she was back on her feet.
They were going outside now... this couldn't be good and there was no point in struggling; Audrey knew that he would end up hurting her either way. The Germans took her outside to one of the alleys, speaking about not wanting a big scene - he was speaking in German, but she understood what he had said, to an extent.
Audrey couldn't help but dread what was going to happen to her now that she'd disobeyed orders and tried to run away from him. Nervously; she chewed on the inside of her lip as they continued outside. There was no end to the list she was beginning to form in her head. German's were mean, manipulative, vindictive and tended to over exaggerate.
When the Nazi pushed her against the wall; the back of her head connected with it pretty hard and she saw spots dancing in front of her eyes. She tried to shrink back when he leaned in close and... smelled her. Despite the circumstances; Audrey couldn't help but furrow her brow at him smelling her. It was strange behaviour, but... then again, he was a German, so that could have been considered as normal behaviour for them. She continued to chew on the inside of her lip as he leaned in closer and spoke in her face.
His tone was mad. She swallowed a lump of bile that was forming in her throat and kept her eyes open; no matter how much she wanted to just close them. So.. he loved torture? Audrey bit on the inside of her lip a lot harder now, drawing blood as he continued to speak in that mad whisper, then 'tsk'ed at her. Audrey tasted blood as she stood there, completely frozen in position.
If she had been able to move her head, she probably would have looked away; but then that would have been another mistake on her part. A terrible mistake. Still tasting the blood in her mouth, Audrey continued to remain motionless, watching Diedrich.
When he shouted she jumped; again hitting her head against the wall behind her.
"My name is Audrey." She mumbled, trying not to sound as though she had rushed her answer. She was telling the truth about her name, her body language suggested so. However; when he demanded to know whether she was in cahoots with the jews she fell silent, but not for long.
"I''m not." She whispered in German, not looking away from him. Knowing that if she were to break eye contact then he wouldn't believe her.

This was like a cat crushing a mouse. Too good. Edselvine was enjoying it more than the average person. He never claimed to be a nice person. He only claimed to get the job done when it needed to be done, by any means necessary. And that was perfectly alright by Hitler.
The girl murmured that her name was actually Audrey, by her tone of voice, he believed her. However, her next words struck him as such a lie that he began to boisterously laugh, placing his hands on his hips and exchanging glances with his fellow Nazi who was laughing, but not really understanding why he was laughing.
The Bear German slowly stopped laughing until it was a mere chuckle. He shook his head and suddenly his lips grew grim once more.
"You know that is a lie as well as I do, cher," he hissed, "why do you think with your ugly hair and your tiny brain that you can lie to me."
As he said 'ugly hair', he picked up a strand of her red locks between his middle finger and pointer finger and gently yanked on it. The more he stared at her terrible hair, the more his fantasies grew of tearing it out strand by strand. If the girl wasn't honest, he'd have her rushed to Camp Aufman, where she could await his return with the disease infected jews inside the barb wire fence.
As he was about to get back into her face again, their conference was startled by the presence of a group of enlisted Nazis as well as Heinrich, the man that had attempted something with her.
"Oh my, Audrey, look! It is your lucky day, or is it?" Edselvine growled, "it is the man that assaulted you!"
Heinrich had originally been Edselvine's new enemy and he had intended on ripping off his stripes and kicking him out of the Nazi party, but the girl's idiocy proved to be her downfall! Poor child!
For a minute, Heinrich looked terrified by the infamous Bear German standing before him, perhaps about to take out his bad conduct on the poor lad. But Edselvine grinned at Heinrich.
"Don't worry, Heinrich, this little bitch has been a very bad girl... I see why you had to do that to her. I'm glad you left her alive, for me to deal with," he smiled at Heinrich.
"I hope you know that the more you lie to me, little girl, the angrier I will become!" He snapped back into her face and shoved her shoulders against the wall.

YOUR HANDS THEY HAUNT ME. FINGER TIPPING DOWN MY SPINE. Of course her name was Audrey; that wasn't something that she was going to lie about. However; the thing about the jews and helping them? Well, she didn't really want to get in any more trouble like she was already, but she felt the need to tell the German that she wasn't helping the Jews - when actually, she was.
She had figured that if she had kept her voice sounding nice and neutral, without giving away to him that she was, in fact, lieing, unfortunately that didn't seem to sit just right with the German and she felt like maybe lieing hadn't been the best thing to do. Though; he might not have believed her if she had told him the truth in the first place.
Audrey jumped when he started to laugh at her, the blood from her lip was pooling in her mouth now, but she didn't want to spit it out to show to him that she was weak. Eventually, he stopped laughing and resorted to a chuckle - it was more than frightening. Then he started to speak to her, apparently thinking that her hair was ugly and that she had a tiny brain.
"With respect, sir..." The red head started in German, her voice slightly more confident than it had been moments ago, she swallowed the blood in her mouth and continued. "I didn't think that you'd believe me if I said that I was, in fact, in cahoots with the Jews." His hand came out and pulled a strand of her hair between two fingers then yanked it. Trying to not give him the satisfaction of her being in pain, Audery kept her mouth shut and didn't move.
For a minute, Heinrich looked terrified by the infamous Bear German standing before him, perhaps about to take out his bad conduct on the poor lad. But Edselvine grinned at Heinrich.
However; when Heinrich; the bastard whom had hit her an hour or so ago, appeared, Audrey gasped. She resumed the chewing of the inside of her lip and looked directly at Heinrich, as Diedrich spoke to her. Shaking her head gently, she looked down at the floor.
The way Diedrich had told Heinrich that he was glad that he had left her alive for him to deal with, Audrey stiffened, a shiver ran up and then back down her spine. That didn't sound too good. Her mind, again, began to race with ideas about what the German was going to do too her, each one as disasterous as the next.
Diedrich shoved her shoulders against the wall. This time it was even more painful than it had been the first couple of times, so painful in fact that she was unable to control herself. The seventeen year old cried out in pain and squeezed her eyes shut for several moments.
"IUNDERSTAND!" Audrey cried, in German.

When the girl spoke, she had a great point. Not too many would suspect her of devious behavior against the fatherland. Just looking at her, she didn't look smart, she looked meager and hardly able to sustain herself. Maybe nothing more than a street urchin. But the way she had acted had given away her position. The poor girl needed to work on her guise!
Now that she had admitted to it, what was there left to do? It would be too easy and not very fun to just outright kill her, oh no. Her different personality made Diedrich want to torture her so badly. Diedrich characteristically brought his thumb and pointer finger up to his chin and pretended to be in thought, all the while staring at Audrey.
Heinrich stood in the position of attention, "sir, permission to speak!"
He turned slowly to face Private Heinrich, "yes?"
"Sir, I believe you should place her in Camp Aufman."
"Okay, so that seems like an okay idea, but tell me why I should waste Nazi funds to transport this brainless girl back to Germany?" Edselvine quizzed the young man, just to test his intelligence and ability to reason more than anything.
"Sir, well... I think if you brought her to Camp Aufman, it would let her truly be punished for what she has done against us!" Heinrich proposed, a look of doltish fear pressed on his youthful face, "Germany will show no mercy for her crimes."
"I like the way you think, Heinrich," Edselvine nodded to the impish private.
The Bear German then dug in his pocket for a piece of paper as well as a pen. Nobody knew what he was doing. Diedrich pressed the paper against the wall by Audrey's head and started to write. After a few moments, he handed the paper to Heinrich.
"Give that to your commanding officer, Private, it's a note of recommendation for rank," he nodded to Heinrich and the other Nazis surrounding him, "Heinrich, you may leave, but I need two of you to stay and officially arrest this Audrey. Bring her to the German Nazi headquarters nearby and tell them that she is an official prisoner of Oberfuhrer Diedrich Klein Edselvine. If they have any questions, they know where to reach me. Is that understood?"
The Nazi's proclaimed a proud 'yes sir!' before half of them dispersed on their way. There were three Nazi's left, two from the big group, and the one from the restaurant. The restaurant Nazi grabbed Audrey by her shoulder and pulled her forward.
Edselvine went back to the French tongue so that she could understand him, "you made a very big mistake today, girl, and you will never forget this moment or your ridiculous stupidity for the rest of your life, that's if you are lucky."
He spat on her top and shifted on his heel. There was no need for him to bother with this girl anymore, he had official business to attend to. He knew that the three Nazis would get her transported to the German base prison, where she'd await her ultimate destination of Camp Aufman. Diedrich knew he wouldn't be in France much longer, there was only so much more he'd have to do before returning to his post.
He sincerely hoped that Juliette would come with him back to Germany, because she was so kind and beautiful, it'd be a shame if he had to forget about her.
The Oberfuhrer hailed a Nazi cab for both the prisoner and himself, before getting into his own cab, and being shuttled away.
